Pack Leaders are, in essence, companions to the dogs. They must be well acquainted with all of our pups and their unique personalities. Pack Leaders should be able to:
- Meet the physical requirements of the job such as lifting heavy objects, cleaning (including mopping, scooping poop, doing laundry, an more), and restraining dogs if necessary.
- Recognize positive, negative, and neutral interactions between the dogs and intervene if need be.
- Be available to work Mon-Fri
Preferred experience:
- 1 year dog handling / pet industry or
- 1 year customer service
Pack Leaders who also work Front Desk should be outgoing and friendly individuals who are able to recognize not only the dogs, but their owners in time. Front Desk staff must: -know basic computer skills and be willing to learn our software -take payment from dog parents -answer phones in a polite and cheerful manner -love talking to pet parents about their fur-babies! -must be available to work Mon-Fri and the occasional weekend
Here at Happy Dog, we offer bath services. Any member of our staff can learn to give baths if they are able and willing. If you are a groomer with experience doing cuts, please contact us. We are flexible and willing to work with all levels of experience since the services that we offer to our clients are dependent on how knowledgeable our staff is.
